Texas Wesleyan IABC Welcomes New President: Joette Andrews

Joette Andrews, a senior mass communication major, took over the president’s position following the resignation of former president Laurence Sheehan.

Andrews has been working with Fort Worth IABC chapter president Cheryl Hart to help create a scholarship for Texas Wesleyan IABC members, and create new programming for the chapter.

Laura Hanna Speaks at Texas Wesleyan IABC Meeting Nov. 5

Texas Wesleyan’s Director of Communication, Laura Hanna, spoke at the Nov. 5 meeting of Texas Wesleyan IABC. Check out her presentation at this link: http://vimeo.com/7602174.

Hanna gave tips on getting jobs in communication, getting internships and discussed what she has done throughout her career. She is the president-elect of Fort Worth IABC.

The next Texas Wesleyan IABC meeting is scheduled for Nov. 19, where Fort Worth IABC President Cheryl Hart will talk about IABC and how students can get involved.
